We enjoyed the stay at Jonathan’s place! The host is very responsive and will make sure your trip is good! The surroundings were beautiful and there was a-lot to do nearby. The place felt like home and was very clean! I would definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay here at Jon’s place! The extra kids toys were very thoughtful and the toddler in our group was very happy! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals from home. The Jon boat and kayak were great for a little excursion through the sound and the hot tub was great to relax in every night. Jon was responsive and helpful during our stay. We had an awesome stay!

Listing is exactly as described, and the scenery is breathtaking to wake up each day to! Jonathan is very responsive communication wise and has everything you could ever need in this lovely home. Super comfy, clean and cozy to relax! We took the ferry to an island called Bird Shoal - it was lovely you can go shell picking to even finding sand dollars to take home! Thank you Jonathan, will definitely be back for another relaxing retreat plus side it’s not far at all from the military base, great location!

My fiancé and I stayed for my birthday and enjoyed every second of it. It felt like a mini paradise! The view is even better in person. All of the included amenities made me never want to leave. 10/10 would stay here again. The host was super friendly, responsive, and even left me a birthday balloon!

Jonathan was a fantastic host and the home was perfect for what we were looking for. The home was clean and comfortable. The only small complaint was the traffic was a bit loud at times but we got used to that fairly quickly and that was to no fault of the host. We are already discussing rebooking with Jonathan. He was one of the best hosts I've had through Airbnb.

The view was very nice, beds very comfy, kitchen well stocked- nice to have crockpot & coffee & tea bar. There are some things that could be improved, but overall the house is ok- just didn't suit our needs.. Unfortunately the road noise was not something we were used to & my dogs were not happy about the small yard next to the marsh. We expressed our concerns & Jonathan was really wonderful to work with & we were fortunate enough to relocate to another property #136 Sunset house- which has been totally amazing & we all really LOVE this location so much more!!! So I highly recommend this property owner & to definitely choose #136 their Sunset House if it is available!!

We enjoyed our stay. Only downside was the proximity to Hwy 24. It's a busy noisy road. Our dog found it very concerning. Fortunately, we were able to find some great walks in nearby parks and preserves.

Words can’t describe this beautiful little getaway!! The host went above and beyond to make the stay nothing shy of perfect! The views are breathtaking! You’re not far from anything you need, so that was convenient! The master bed was like sleeping on a cloud! If I had to make any recommendations, I would simply ask for darker curtains in the master room, it gets bright super early but the sunrises made it worth it! We will definitely keep this on our list of places to come back to!

Great location. Cute home. Beds are comfortable and the coffee bar was a nice touch. Only thing that could have been better was the fact that the kayak was lacking the plugs therefore could only hold one small person without taking on water.

Our family really enjoyed this place and the pics just don't do the views justice. Those sunrises were spectacular and viewing the night skies over the water from the hot tub was awesome as well. This location is close to everything, including a fresh seafood spot where we got live crabs for a boil, which was practically across the street. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place with a spectacular view! The hosts made us feel right at home with great amenities. It was so nice to find a place that was dog friendly and accepted all breeds. Our English Mastiff and Staffy/pit mix had a wonderful first vacation! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice, quiet, and relaxing getaway with their furry friends!

What an awesome experience. The sunrises were breath taking. We saw crab, shrimp, puffer fish, seagulls, and so many other types of fish. The house is clean and well taken care of. The host really wants you to feel welcome and make memories. kayaks and boat for use on the waterfront property. Private hot tub. I truly recommend this host for any stay in this area. Look up all their properties. The house location was great but it is clear this host takes care of their properties and they want to make sure you have a memorable comfortable stay.

Loved our vacation to this intercostal home! Beautiful view, cute home, and made you feel at home. They have stuff for toddlers/babies in home so it cut down on what we needed to pack!

This fishing weekend with our grandsons did not disappoint! The home was just as advertised and the hosts were super responsive to all of our last minute needs - from late checkout to the trolling motor for the Jonboat, Jonathan was always there with an answer within a few minutes. Excellent service before, during and even after our stay! We cannot recommend the home or the Wrightson's enough!! If I could leave 10 stars I would!!

This house was perfect for us and our puppy. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was amazing. We spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing and birdwatching and this was the perfect place for it. We would definitely come back.

Even though our visit was during a Tropical Storm, we still enjoyed the peace and quiet. My Husband caught a lot of fish even during the storm! We would love to come back when we can enjoy what seemed to be a beautiful and quaint town.

Cute little place for a family getaway to Emerald Isle. A quick drive to the island. It was great being right on the water and having the kayak and row boat options. We also appreciated being able to relax in the hot tub with lovely views of the intercoastal waterway. Jonathan & Misty were great communicators and quick to respond.

Great place to stay. Emerald Isle is one of my favorites and we had a good time. It was only one night but my fiancé loves the hot tub so I went for this one. Very beautiful views as well.

Loved the location, we enjoyed fishing off the back yard, the snacks were great after a long night of shark fishing! We appreciate it. The only problems were a few cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, and the kids room gets very hot (no ac in that room) the kids room smelled very strong of urine, and the extra blankets in the hall closet did too. Other than that it was very clean and perfect for our vacation.

We had a lovely time and the host was great! The house is right on the highway, as advertised, so be ready for highway noise. The back yard is gorgeous, with a view of the marsh, but very close to the neighbors.

Cozy little stay with responsive host

My family and I were so glad to stay our vacation week here. The home was very humble, which was perfect. The amenities were a big plus. we used the hot tub every day and sat out on the deck overlooking the water after our beach trips. Didn’t have a problem with mosquitos. Also the breeze from the water helped cut the heat. I would recommend bringing an umbrella for the porch. We had a great time and we do plan to come back. If you’re looking for just enough with a beautiful view and good laughs this is the home for you.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Johnathan was a great host, clear instructions from the beginning and great constant communication. Coffee bar and snacks were provided. Also easy and quick check out instructions. I stayed here as a last minute decision after dropping my daughter off at a camp nearby and was the best decision I could have made! Pulling in the driveway you already see the beautiful view. Check in was easy and the house was immaculately clean. The water just feet from the deck offers so much peace and the deck had plenty of seating. Great restaurants with a view are also pretty much in walking distance. Will definitely be back.

Lovely home with access to the waterway. Beautiful sunrises and good fishing. The location right by a busy road was not ideal but that is of no fault to the owner. Home was clean, easy to access and very little was required for checkout. Overall a great place to stay for a couple days.

Very nice and location is great

This was a last minute planned family trip and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean this place was. Its separation from the next door house made it easy to manage with the dogs. We loved it. Can’t wait to come back again. Oh might I add the beds are more comfortable than my own.

If you're an angler, ESPECIALLY a kayak angler, then this place is for you! Backyard is a DREAM. Easy to relax in the hot tub, bonfire, or just casting from the bank. Photos of the property doesn't justify how beautiful this place is. My pups, who are extremely hyper, enjoyed themselves where they were RELAXED and sunbathing. As for the housing itself, really minimalistic where it's not overstimulating (Which I love). Beds, couch, and EVEN carpets were comfortably soft like 10-ply. I only slept for an hour during my 1-night visit where it felt like 12 hours of sleep. Bathroom, STOCKED. Kitchen, STOCKED. Snack and coffee, STOCKED! It was my me and my partner's first time at Swansboro/Cedar Point. Our host was very accommodating and responsive to our last minute booking. He even had the hot tub nice and toasty upon our arrival. We're 100% rebooking in the future!

Amazing views clean and close to everything you need

Nice place. Lovely view onto the water, and the hot tub is great. Bed is great and interior of the place is nice. The only negative is the street, which was noisy while we were there. But it really wasn't a big deal. 20min walk to downtown Swansboro too, or a 2 min drive. Lots of great restaurants around.

We had such a fun mom’s getaway weekend here and really enjoyed it. It’s a very short drive to swansboro where they have some great restaurants and boutiques. We love the house and Jonathan was easy to communicate with. The hot tub was great and hot which is a must for me. Who wants a lukewarm hot tub right? 😀 beautiful view of the sound.

Our family of five spent a few days exploring the town of Swansborro, NC in a “cabin by the sea”. We had the best time just hanging out at the house on the marsh.. kayaking, fishing, cooking and enjoying the hot tub. The house had everything we needed to make us feel right at home and relaxed. The host were easy to communicate with and they even left us some snacks for when we got there. We hope to visit again!

We had a lovely stay at Jon and Misty’s property. Check-in was a breeze, we appreciated the snacks they provided, and even though we were only there for the weekend, the house had everything we would’ve needed for a longer stay. The views are absolutely beautiful, and you really can’t beat the hot tub overlooking the water! Jon was very communicative ahead of our stay with lots of local recommendations, and we knew we could count on him for a quick response if we needed anything during our stay. We look forward to returning when the weather is warmer.

We had a great stay-very comfortable with four kids ! Clean, very functional home and amazing view of the water from the hot tub on the deck. One note - there is a lot of traffic outside so if you have light sleepers keep that in mind and maybe plan to bring a sound machine.

This place was just as described. It's small but it was a perfect size for my parents, me, my husband and my 2 kids. It was a bit windy when we were there so we couldn't use the kayak. The hot tub was awesome and we did use the fire pit a few times. Its winter so we had no luck with fishing or crabbing off the back. We visited Beaufort, the aquarium and local restaurants. The street is very busy, can't imagine what its like in the summer. We didn't mind the noise though. This would be a great place to stay in spring and summer! We had a great time!

This place was so amazing, from the beautiful scenery, perfect hot tub, and impeccable views, our stay was perfect. Not to mention we were so close to so many different attractions and excellent restaurants, it made our stay that much better. the best!! very responsive and such nice people. Air Bnb (not the hosts) posed a few issues and johnathan was so proactive about it and very easy to talk to! The place was so clean and our doggies absolutely loved it! One of the pictures makes it look like the fence is open under the porch but when we got there it was completely blocked off! and the king mattress they talk about….the best! totally would book with them again!

The cottage is super cute and cozy , the views amazing, Hot-tub was so nice after fishing in the backyard all day … we saw the most amazing sunset across the street! The main road can be a little loud at times in the evening however they have noise machines and a fan to cancel it out so don’t let that discourage you from staying !! Highly Recommend staying at jonathan’s cottage we can’t wait to come back in the summer ! Thanks for the memories!

Nice older well kept coastal cottage with many updates. Hot tub was clean and hot!! Located on a very busy road, so be mindful when exiting, particularly to the left. Everything worked as it should and the owner provided clear communication throughout our stay. We highly recommend and would stay again....

Our stay was nothing short of great. Everything, from the breathtaking waterfront views to the hot tub under the stars, exceeded our expectations. It felt like our own private oasis, yet close enough to explore Cedar Point's charming shops and delicious seafood restaurants. Our kids were in paradise! The house had games and toys, private water front to play and explore, a hammock to relax in, and even a fire pit for cozy evenings roasting marshmallows. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided detailed recommendations for local activities, left snacks and coffee, and were always available to answer questions. We felt like valued guests, not just renters. Would absolutely recommend!

The view from the porch and master bedroom were spectacular. The hot tub was a must for our winter visit and it did not disappoint. The owner was super nice and sent so many tips ahead of our visit. This was the perfect choice for my stay. I was looking for a place that I could relax and get some reading done. This property was all of that and more. Jonathan was a responsive host with answers to any questions. He even took the time to advise me of weather conditions at the property due to us arriving during a tropical storm. Heck of a view off the back porch! Close too many amenities, very close to Swansboro that is an awesome small town. Jonathan is a friendly responsive host and the place was extremely clean. We loved our stay here and had a great time with our family. The view from the deck and the hot tub is a total plus. Perfect option for fishing as well. The location itself is accessible however, its next to a very busy street-main road as mentioned in the description. The noise can get loud sometimes. Despite that, there are plenty of groceries as well as restaurants around. Overall, would be back for a stay here!! Thanks for having us.

Great place to stay for a brother's fishing trip. Caught as many fish from the backyard as we did on the Bogue Pier! Enjoyed our weekend. There were a few very good restaurants and bars just up the road in Swansboro. Would gladly stay here again.

Loved to wake up and see the lake and go fishing. Jacuzzi was a perfect temperature for the time I went . Would not mind planning another trip in the summer . We did go on the kayak but sadly was missing a paddle(ore) but we made it work and was very peaceful . As stated in the description it is on the Main Street but once in the home you tend you forgery you’re so close to the street. LOVED how the driveway wasn’t so tight and I was able to make a u turn so I can leave the driveway facing forward .

My Fiancée and I wanted to bring our moms for a getaway! We all loved fishing right from the back yard and caught so many different kinds of fish! The bed in the master bedroom was SO comfortable that made it so difficult to get out of! We will be back in the near future! Thank you for our little getaway!!

Great house. We were bummed to be there during a tropical storm but we made the best of it. Important to note: right on a main road.

I stayed here with my wife and our dog-we love fishing and couldn't resist the idea of renting somewhere that we can fish from the backyard! It was a perfect retreat for a couple of nights, we caught some Red Drum, Black Drum, Spot and a Toadfish (& several blue crabs!) We would absolutely stay here again!

Great host and a great spot!

This was our first time staying in Emerald Isle and because we had such a great time we may not go back to another beach for a while. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a grill out back, grocery stores are a five minute drive and a fresh seafood market is within walking distance so we never had to eat out. We did go out for ice cream at Sweeter Things (also five mins away) and the staff and treats there were awesome. The beach is an easy ten minute drive so were there every day. We kayaked and fished from the back yard and enjoyed the hot tub almost every day of our stay. I highly recommend this rental and we will definitely try to stay here again next time we visit.

Jonathan’s place was wonderful and worth the value. The home was clean, full of amenities and had lots of upgrades. We loved all the windows that looked out onto the water. Sitting on the deck every morning and evening was something to look forward to. We had a blast kayaking and fishing. The location is easy to find and is located near lots of restaurants. If you prefer to eat in, there is plenty of cookware and a propane grill. Highly recommend Jonathan’s place!! My kid’s and I had a great time!

I would definitely recommend this place! It was very clean, the view was amazing in the morning and sunset, location is close to a lot of restaurants, and there is plenty to do in the area. The hot in was the perfect way to cap the day, and the host was always very quick to answer any questions. Overall, extremely pleased with our stay!

We loved the place, it was a wonderful trip we would like to go back soon. We definitely recommend everyone trying to relax and enjoy a peaceful trip.

The house is located on a very busy highway which made it difficult to get on to the highway during peak times. The highway traffic noise was most noticeable from the room with double beds. The listing did mention the close proximity to the highway but when your home is located in a more rural area it definitely is more noticeable. On the flip side, the access to the marsh made one forget about the craziness on the highway. We enjoyed the ability to cook out from the back porch and the sunset was breathtaking from the hot tub. I was very thankful to have the ability to bring our family dogs, but the fenced in area wasn’t very secure. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the amenities listed. The host allowed us to checkin early and checkout late, with additional fees, but this allowed us to spend more time with our Marine. The house provided us reasonable access to Camp Geiger while allowing us to have quality time with extended family members and friends.

Great place to stay!

Jonathan and Misty communicated with us from the time we requested our reservation until after our stay was over. They did an excellent job of letting us know how to get there, how to get in once there, and offering suggestions of things we might enjoy doing while there. The house was exactly as advertised, every room was spotlessly clean, and it was a great place to spend a few days to get such much needed downtime. They responded immediately to any messages from us (which were all prior to our arrival since we had no issues while there). The space was very comfortable, and sitting out on the deck looking out over the water was very relaxing. We got some beautiful pictures of sunset and sunrise, as well as the overall scenery the location had to offer. There were many things to do in the area, and an abundance of good places to eat. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and we're glad we chose staying at their house in Cedar Point for part of our 20th anniversary celebration!

This house was perfect for our family. The view off of the back deck was absolutely stunning, and you can’t beat the sunrises! There was thoughtful little additions all through the house to make traveling with kiddos a little easier, like board games, building blocks, and a high chair seat! The fenced in yard was great for our pups also! We loved the hot tub too! We didn’t get a chance to try out the kayak because it was windy and pretty cold, but we would love to try that next time! The instructions were very clear and easy, and the place was spotlessly clean. As advertised, it is on a very busy road, which I was grateful that the description was very clear beforehand! The road noise can be a bit much at night time, but nothing that kept anyone from sleeping after long vacation days at the nearby beaches! Loved this little venue, and the hosts were very responsive and proactive! Great stay here and would love to return! 😊

Very nice with beautiful view. Highway noise was sometimes a little distracting but we didn’t know the area so didn’t realize it was busy. We saw many birds and beautiful sunrises off the porch and deck area.

Spending the evening and sunrise in a clean hot tub overlooking a Bay Area was so amazing. The house was beautiful and I especially liked being able to see the waters through the huge windows at the foot of the bed. An awesome sound system in the house for great beachy vibes. Great getaway 👌

The hot tub and water views were amazing. We also took advantage of the kayak and took a quick trip around the marsh area. Definitely a memorable experience. I think that Jonathan had done an amazing job of turning the back part of this property into a peaceful vacation oasis. However, this home is off a busy 4 lane road which did take away from the overall peacefulness for us. We live in the county on 6 acres and we’re at times very distracted by the road. I suggest brining noise canceling ear phones if you are easily distracted by noise. Other than the busy road, this house was amazing and Jonathan is an exceptional host! Highly recommend this vacation home!

This was my 1st airbnb experience and I was not disappointed! Jonathan was a perfect host. My niece and I enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for the dogs and us. The hot tub on the back deck overlooking the marsh was so relaxing and the busy highway provided an almost constant hum that I found very soothing. My niece, however, is a very light sleeper and wasn't as happy with the 'white noise' ;-) I would not hesitate to book with Jonathan again!

Jonathan's location was just what we needed. The views and spaces to enjoy, from the dining table, to the hot tub, to the bedroom windows, were incredible & serene. The experience has seriously made us fall in love with the marsh, I found myself enjoying it more than being close to the beach. Short drive from Swansboro, such a cute town to walk around in & incredible restaurants. Then just another short drive to the beach. When we first pulled in, we were a little thrown by how close it was to the road & being able to hear the cars drive by, but do not let that stop you! When you're in the back side of the house, you don't notice any of it at all & feels like it's far away from everything. Great tv/internet setup, too. And great communication from host, this place is a gem & very well taken care of. We look forward to coming back!

Came to the coast with my dog as a new North Carolinian and to enjoy a hot tub I moved away from Up North. The house was as described, well equipped and comfortable. I really liked the surround sound on the big TV as there are 3 in the house for larger groups. With it being off season with not much to do as well as being a solo guest, the hot tub was the main draw for me. It was basic. For most people that won't matter as they will enjoy the area attractions and each other, along with all the other amenities the house provides. Nice stay, Thanks Jonathan.

Double water therapy! I didn’t do much besides soak in the hot tub while staring at the water view. The town nearby; Swansboro, is a bird sanctuary with a quaint downtown. It’s a quick drive to Emerald Isle if you want some time at the beach. This was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in which was especially nice given that it’s pet friendly. The space itself was cute and the view can’t be beat. I could absolutely see myself coming back and am thrilled I chose this location for my vacation this year.

Great view of the water!

The home was beautiful and welcoming. The view and the sunrise over the lake was amazing. Everything was clean, stocked and the homeowners communicated every step of the way and made themselves available even into the evening to answer questions. Definitely worth it and will return and recommend.!

This place was fantastic, clean and as described. We had everything we needed and wanted at the house. The view was amazing and the hot tub made the stay during the cold weather very worth it. As other reviews have stated, it’s right off the road. The road noise was a lot for us especially considering we work night shift and preferred sleeping in. That’s the only thing we really didn’t like - but everything else made the stay worth it and more.

It is a place to help release stress, I fell in love with the beauty of it. Having my morning coffee was so relaxing , not even the rain interfer with it.

This was our second time staying at Jonathan’s listing. The place always has everything you need. Both, in bathrooms and kitchen very well stocked. The jacuzzi was a huge plus, very relaxing esp during the cold season. This place is great for a getaway of relaxation and connection to nature. We really enjoy the scenic sunrise and sunsets from their place! Jonathan is also extremely responsive and will go out of his way to make sure their guests are comfortable. Our stay was great! The issues we had were our own (a 2 year old who wanted to walk around with the coasters or open cabinets but hey, kids right? lol) The fenced area was perfect for our Doggo and the view is spectacular. Watching the sunrise in the hottub is second to none. The house across the marsh had a dozen white xmas trees out and it was a perfect festive touch. WELL STOCKED and had every amenity. Couldn't have been better. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Came to this home for a birthday getaway. My boyfriend and I could not have enjoyed the location more, and loved being able to kayak and fish right off the backyard! The house is perfectly located close to both Swansboro and Emerald Isle. We highly recommend taking the ferry nearby to Hammock’s Beach State Park!

We had a great time staying at Johnathan's place right on the water. We used the hot tub both nights which was lovely. The house worked out just fine for us but it is right next to a busy street and the car noise can be annoying at times. Very pretty sunrises and lots of bird wildlife.

Great stay! Our 2 toddlers and 2 dogs joined us and we can’t find anything negative to say! The location was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommend this house. The hosts are very accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay nice. The view was very nice and we even saw a stingray in the water!

Jon was a great host, super communicative and responsive the one time we reached out. Despite the proximity to the main road, the sound of traffic wasn’t too bad. The only recommendation I’d make is blackout curtains for the bedroom. The light off the main road is pretty bright and. Thanks for a great stay!

Out of all my stays at an Airbnb, hands down, this was my favorite! Beautiful and comfy home with the luxury of fishing right in the backyard! Jonathan was courteous enough to shoot me a call to warn me of how the tides would look a bit concerning due to the hurricane that passed by. Such a pleasant person to speak to! I am looking forward to staying here again!!!

Amazing place!! I stayed at both of their properties in Cedar Point. I can’t say enough about their properties and hosts!! Cutest decorated cottage with everything you need for an amazing stay! Didn’t use the hot tub but it was there and functional. Beds were amazingly comfortable. The place was spotless and I would most definitely stay again!!

The view is absolutely amazing from this place!! And it’s such a cozy place for multiple people or even 2 people. Would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful view. So much fun fishing right from the backyard. The road in front is very busy and noisy but if that doesn't bother you, this is an amazing location. Even has a fence around the backyard that helps make this house more dog friendly. We loved it, overall.

This cute cottage is right on the inland waterway and is very cozy and welcoming! It’s not too far from the actual beach, just a short car ride, and very close to restaurants and shops. The hot tub was so much fun, and while we didn’t have time to try out the kayak I just know it would have been a blast to scoot right out on the smooth water. Thanks Johnathan!

A very comfortable stay for me and the Mrs. Very clean, nicely updated and really nice being on the water. The hot tub and kayak were added bonuses. Yes, it’s on a busy road, but there is a turning lane, so getting in and out wasn’t bad at all. The back of the house felt very private and was a nice place to relax. The master bedroom facing the sunrise was also very nice.

Jonathan’s home is immaculate and offers beautiful views. My son thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and being able to jump in the water! The house was nicely renovated and I took advantage of the wonderful coffee station. Only down side was the highway traffic noise at night.

This place is a hidden gem and close to so many fantastic restaurants. Swansboro was so fun to explore and unexpectedly charming. The view from the house - can’t beat it! The house is very clean and well equipped. There are so many walking trails nearby as well. Our dog had more fun than we did! The road noise is a bit loud at times, but it is easily drowned out by a sound machine. We will definitely be back in the future!

We had a great time staying here! It was cozy, clean and super convenient. It was right in the middle of where we needed to be. About 30 minutes away from Jacksonville Mall or in the other direction, 30 minutes from the Aquarium. There’s a ton of stuff to do even in the winter time. The hot tub was great, laundry access, complimentary Netflix, A/C worked great. We can’t say enough great things about our stay! Great communication, easy check in! We’ll definitely come back here if we come back to this area!

This was the best little getaway that I’ve had in a long time. Not only is the place spotless, it has every thing a house could have to keep you in vacation mode. The view is stunning. The kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub is too inviting and perfectly situated overlooking the marsh. The master bed is incredibly comfortable. And the host is very responsive and accommodating. You will not regret this rental. It’s at the top of my list.

We had a wonderful weekend gateway at Jonathan’s place. Even though the place is right on the highway, once you are inside, the view of the water gives you a very secluded feel. The place was clean and well-equipped and close to many restaurants. The view from the master bedroom and the sunroom is absolutely gorgeous. We had a wonderful experience kayaking into the sunset. I wish I was able to stay in this place for longer. It felt like I was in Florida. Waking up with the tranquil water right outside the master was truly refreshing.

Great place and location for our annual visit to do some kayak fishing. We were able to launch right out of the back yard. The place has obviously been recently updated. Very fresh and ULTRA clean. A bit of traffic noise outside but that didn't matter as the beds were very comfortable. We crashed hard and had two great nights of sleep. We initially had some issues receiving correspondence from Airbnb for check in instructions. But Misty responded within minutes to help us get in and situated. Overall a fantastic experience. Would absolutely stay here again. We enjoyed falling asleep to the moonrise and waking up to the sunrise view overlooking the water. The sunroom was an ideal work-from-home situation: getting to enjoy 180 waterside view while working beats the office every time! The internet was plenty sufficient for Zoom calls. We loved the accessibility to Emerald Isle and the cute town of Swansboro. Our second night, we cooked a fresh seafood catch and the kitchen had all the things we needed to do so. Jonathan was extremely responsive to any questions we had and easy to talk to before and during our trip.

Easy Check-In, great communication, and perfect location! The property is close to nearly anything you want, parks, shopping, food, etc. Each room has it's own temperature control! You won't find a better property for your visit.

The views from this home are breathtaking. We had a great escape as a family. The king bed was one of the most comfortable beds that we have ever slept in! We LOVED our stay here; it was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Being able to see the marsh from the kitchen, sun room and main bedroom was wonderful; we enjoyed gorgeous sun rises and a few dolphin sightings. As the listing notes, the home is on a busy road but the views more than made up for that. We would definitely stay here again. Jonathan was quick with any communication, check in was a breeze and being able to bring our dog was great. There is so much to explore in the area too.

We enjoyed our stay on the water. The only thing missing was WiFi.

This home was amazing! It was completely re-done and very cute inside. There was a lot of attention to detail. From the welcome goodies to the fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, everything you need was available. You immediately felt at home. The bed is a king size and was so comfortable! Opening the blinds from the bedroom to see the morning sunrise over the sound was phenomenal. The location of the house and the outside space /deck are really awesome, we got to fish and hang out to enjoy all this home had to offer. Jonathan was a great host and sent a message to check in to make sure we had everything we needed and was so accommodating. I can’t say enough about our experience. It was our best air bnb experience yet and we have stayed in quite a few! We can’t wait to come back

What an adorable little house right on the water with a beautiful view, even in the rain! We just didn’t get to stay long enough! This is an older home that has been re-done with simple yet tasteful and relaxing decor - we slept so good and really enjoyed the relaxing view right off the back deck. It was so close to everything we needed and wanted to enjoy - and the owners, Jonathan and his wife, have provided every possible extra you might need while there, including a cute little welcome basket greeting you upon your arrival. I hope to return in the Spring with my daughter for a girl’s weekend so save us a spot on a sunny and warm weekend!

We loved staying in Jonathan’s home on the marsh which is perfect for a family with children or two couples. It’s nicely decorated and very clean. We especially loved the view overlooking the marsh at sunrise. Spectacular! Jonathan and Misty are wonderful hosts, taking care of any concerns or questions we had. We’re really looking forward to coming back for another great visit.

This place was wonderful! Location was close enough for quick trips to the beach, yet far enough to be away from it all. Beautiful sunrises from bed through the bay windows. Kayaking sunset in the tall grass with a dolphin. Fishing was wonderful right from the porch. Even caught a Puffer fish! 100% will return!

We loved this home. It does sit close To a very busy highway so I’d be Leary of having kids and fur babies that close. Other than that the house is really cute. Love the deck over looking the water. Enjoyed dinner there every night. Fishing was really good also. You will enjoy this home and area

This property was absolutely wonderful!! The inlet was calm and the view of the water from kitchen and master bedroom was phenomenal!! Everything was spotless! We will return!!

This was a beautiful stay. It was right on the water and had snacks as soon as you walk in. The queen bed was super comfortable and had lamps that you could turn up or down the brightness. The carpet was super clean and soft. They even had Netflix for the place!

My wife and I decided to make a last “beach day” trip for the season, and we’re thrilled when we saw your home listed as an available option for our impromptu vacation. The images don’t do the house justice- everything was clean, uncluttered, and the views were amazing! We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed having a space to relax outside. Great place in a great area.

Perfect place for a getaway! Jonathan and Misty are very attentive, we really enjoyed staying their lovely home. It’s perfect for fishing, we started catching fish as soon as we got there. Everything is so close, fishing Store is down the street and several food places nearby. Emerald Beach was great for a hot mid day swim! & the home was just perfect, cozy, very modern, clean and relaxing. We would definitely come back and stay here in the future when visiting Cedar Point!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jonathan's place. Everything was very new and clean, likely due to recent rebuilding. The home does not have central air, however, there are plenty of window units and individual AC units around the home to make it nice and chilly. We did not realize when booking, that this location is literally steps away from a major road (will just need to keep an eye on the kiddos). The location, right on the water was amazing and convenient. My husband launched his kayak right in the backyard. We would definitely stay again!!

This is a very cute home in a very convenient location. The house is on a main road, but we were able to tune out the noise from traffic. The view from the dining table and master bedroom are beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset. Ample parking space that allowed us to turn around in the driveway instead of having to back out into the busy road. The hosts generously provided toys and puzzles for my little one to play with and left snacks and toiletries for our stay. We did notice a small issue on our check out day and the hosts quickly replied and offered to rectify the situation which was accepted and greatly appreciated. Overall my best friend, son, and I had a wonderful stay on Jonathan’s property. The hosts were very prompt in replies and addressed concerns appropriately and in a timely manner. We highly recommend this home andJonathan as a host.

Everything was great , the view was amazing, everything as expected, the host and co-host very attentive easy to communicate with them . The place was very clean .. i loved it..
